Does sensor size make a difference? Yes. Can a 10MP digital camera take a better photo than a 12MP digital camera? Yes. When? When the 10MP digital camera has a larger sensor size.The larger the sensor size, the better images able to be captured. A larger sensor will engulf more light compared to a smaller sensor. This is very important when it comes to photographing indoors in low-light conditions, and also outdoors when lighting is deadened, as shown in the photos, below. |
